Classic beers containing Czech/Bavarian hops, quality malt, and spring water -- and, as a tolerable compromise, maybe the requisite trace of ascorbic acid to make it last when shipped overseas. No time for wheat, corn, rice, strawberries, sugar, herbs, excessive amounts of alcohol (that’s what Schnaps is for !) etc. That’s an abomination, not beer as Saint Gambrinus would approve of. Nor my ancestors who have been brewing beer in Westphalia since the 1400s.
