We’re far from experts, but my wife and I love to try many different beers. I tend to prefer darker, heaver beers (Porters, Stouts, etc.); she’s more partial to the lighter varieties (Amber Ales, Wheats, etc.) We aren’t hung up about various brewers (i.e. we don’t have an innate hatred of A-B or any other brewery) nor do we seem to always be able to discern some of the flavor or aroma elements that some of the more connoisseur-like folks seem to be able to. But we know what tastes good to us, and what doesn’t, what we like and what we don’t like overall, and that’s what we hope to share here. And we hope to learn from others!
