Ideally beer should be had with food. The only thing better than a fine IPA is a fine IPA paired with a fine pork chop and garlic mashed potatos. I can only take Belgian Ales in smallishh doses; but one day, by God, I will take a brew-tour of Belgium. Usually the bitterer the beer the better the beer. The Japanese above reads "sake" which is also pretty damn good, but not usually as exciting to me as beer. I am very interested in trading beers. Please contact me if your are interested in any NC brews. I am most interested in acquiring beers from Colorado and the West Coast which are not heavily distributed in the Southeast. (See my wish list.) NEW: I have some of that limited edition Highland Imperial Gaelic Ale they brewed as their last downtown Asheville batch which I am willing to trade for wish-list beers.
