In a perfectly simple handoff at the Brewmasters Open judging, Jay hooked me up with two ’07 Dark Lords and even tossed in a bomber of NHC award winning IPA. I have more faith in the ageability of the ’07 and Jay just wanted to try some of this year’s. Perfect.
In person trade. I gave Jay 12 very average local brews and here is what I got. Stone 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, Sweetwater IPA, Happy Ending, Exodus Porter, Yazoo Pale Ale & Hefeweizen, HOTD FFTW, Duck Rabbit Baltic Porter, Terrapin IMPY Stout & Golden Ale, Bells Expedition 2002, Highland Black Mocha Stout. Plus 6 homebrews which so far have blew my mind!! I owe you big!!!!!
Jay sent the single best box of beer ever. I am forever indebted. I met SpringsLicker at the Tennessee Spring(ish) Tasting in Knoxville on 3/10/2007. In addition to enjoying some GREAT beer, there was a lot of good conversation and some beer swapping. ...to be Jay’s 50th trade. Not only did he send me the DFH Au Courant and DW Youngblood’s Imp Porter, but he also picked up a handbottling of Oskar Blues Ten FIDY down in GA!
