COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beautiful, deep russet brew has the sweet and somewhat nutty character of Adam Avery's late (1992-2002) Chocolate Lab, for which it is named. Crystal and chocolate malts give this beer a brown sugar maltiness with hints of vanilla and nuts, while subtle hopping gives it an overall drinkability that's second to none, just like Ellie!

Lichte body. Niet mijn ding dit.

chinhaez (426) - Ouray CO, Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 15, 2022 Can. Dark brown pour with a small beige head the soon recedes to a fine scum. Aroma of spicy grains, cocoa and caramel malts. The taste reminds me of wet earth, which is rather odd since I have never actually tasted wet earth. That aside I get cocoa. mild coffee, caramel and pecans. The palate is light. Finishes short and dry. Overall: not bad for a brown ale.

nathanvc (5989) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 15, 2022
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2022 Can from Beer Republic. Hazy dark brown, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of chestnut, fresh cake, almond, old plum, wholemeal bread, mocha, tobacco. Taste has sweetish pear & fig, restrained with a sourish berry note in a brown-bready malt body, slightly nutty, herbal. Earthy hoppy finish offering gentle toast, tobacco & mocha. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Enjoyable but rather forgettable too.
