Wabasha Brewing Company in the West Side of St. Paul is planning on a November 1 opening for its taproom, possibly with a soft opening beforehand. |
I made a list of all the breweries I know to be open or opening soon and, from that, created a google map. |
These are the latest planned opening dates I’ve found for some of the upcoming breweries’ taprooms, according to the various owners. All of these dates are subject to change. |
Maple Island Brewing in Stillwater is now open |
Also on the way (I’ve heard - not sure if this is all still on track): |
LynLake’s taproom opening has been pushed back a day to Friday, October 10 at 4 p.m., the same time as the opening of "The Pub at NorthGate" (NorthGate’s taproom). Waconia has announced that it will open its taproom to the public on October 22. Schram (also in the city of Waconia) has opened the building that houses its taproom (as well as wine and mead tasting room); Schram previously had been serving in an outdoor patio area. |

Surly is closing its Brooklyn Center taproom permanently* immediately after Darkness Day on October 25. Surly of course eventually will be opening a taproom at its Minneapolis destination brewery, for which I believe Surly is targeting an early 2015 opening date. So get to Surly in the next couple of weeks, say goodbye, and make sure to get yourself a glass of Todd the Axe Man, in my opinion Surly’s best IPA yet. |
Surly’s new location opens in December. |
I was told at Fulton they have no interest in a taproom at the northeast location. |
