“Iron Hill "Taphouse" ... gotta say, I really like this format v. the regular restaurants. Wide open, large ceilings, limited menu that is by far cheaper than the regular places (had the hamburger that was good ... can walk out without a $50 food bill for 1 person), and decent sized tap list. If this was close, I'd go here regularly.“

“Not that impressive of a place. 5-10 IPAs, all rather mediocre. A poorly executed Belgian, a Stout that makes you wonder why you are paying a premium price. Not the worst brewery, but not the best either.“

“Industrial setting in the back .. would have passed by if I never knew (or someone told me) this were there. Decent # of taps with decent enough beers.“

“I’m not sure if you can get a more well-rounded or larger selection of beer anywhere in the area. This restaurant features about 50 draft beers and over 500 more selections in bottles. If you can’t find a beer here that suits you, it probably doesn’t exist. They have everything from pale lagers, to IPAs, to wheat beers, imperial stouts, porters, Belgian quads, barleywines, you name it. I tasted at least five beers here on my first trip that I hadn’t had before. The restaurant is extremely easy to find, but the parking adjacent to the building isn’t all that ample. On busy days, you may have to park in the general parking area of the shopping center. They have a great looking patio area with heaters and televisions outside. The inside space isn’t as huge as I thought it would be. They have a decently-sized bar, then mostly high-top tables and a few standard-sized tables for larger parties. The service was outstanding. You’ll never go longer than a few minutes without a beer in front of you. The food is pretty tasty too. Try to the pretzel with the beer cheese sauce. The tacos are very delicious as well! Even though this is a chain restaurant establishment, it is well worth a visit when you’re in the area.“

“Solid joint. Large inside with plenty of seating and wrap around bar. Many mainstay beers on tap but a couple of new ticks for us. It’s worth having a look at the bottle menu too. Food is mostly burgers but decent. Bartender was friendly and chatty. I’m not sure if this is part of a pub chain but has that kind of ambiance about it. Regardless, it was nice to come check this place out.“

“Just a couple of blocks from Red Star, and a short drive or maybe 10-15 minute walk from the train station (with no sidewalks, though - this is Murica after all). Inside has a very chain feel to it. Large bar smack in the middle, tables all around. Friendly bar woman tried her best. Good tap selection, and a very interesting bottle selection (a gose and a Flanders red in cans? yes, please). Sadly, no tasters, samplers or smaller pours, and I can only drink so many full pints. Worth a stop.“

“Website said they opened at 11, so we stopped by at 11:15 and they weren’t open until 11:30. Not sure if this was a one-off (twas the day after Easter) or a permanent thing. Anyway, inside there’s a fairly good size bottle shop. Restaurant has a very open style. The whole thing has a separate entrance from the shopping mall to which it is attached, so it didn’t seem too mally. Yes, that IS a word. Starting now.Service was bright and chipper.“

“Excellent service and a warm wood/brick open atmosphere. Nice menu with lots of different options...small plates, tacos, salads, sandwiches and more. Really nice beer selection and a cool takeout area. Only part I don’t like is that it is attached to the mall. But a fee beers and some good service here takes the edge off of mall shopping!“

“Bad. Busy on a March Madness Saturday night and totally overwhelmed. Hostess, servers and managers apologized but still the level of service was dismal. Beer selection was reasonable, for bottles. They were out of multiple draft beers on menu, server could not say for sure what choices were still available. So we stuck with bottles. Food was overpriced and nothing to write home about. Seemed like there were fundamental restaurant management issues with this place, if those aren’t resolved its future is not promising.“

“First visit today. Huge place with a coffee and snack area on the side near the mall and a larger bar/restaurant area with raised ceilings and very nice decor. The bar was huge, oak, pristine. About 30 taps and 2 hand pumps with a bevy of local and semi-rare drafts. I had a burger and fries which were both 90%ile. The service was great. Not too crowded on a Saturday for lunch, which makes me wonder, because the rent on this place must be huge. Also a very good bottle selection in the snack area.“

“A nice bar but this is really just PJ whelihans with less sports, more music, and slightly better beer...the concept behind the bar is the same though. Bartenders look good, are trained to sound good to the layperson, but largely know little about what they are serving. The food menu is offputting...a whole page of expensive burgers. The beer selection is really very good and makes it worth stopping now and then but I dont like the gastropub lineup with a nightclub soul. 12/18/14 update...after a few more visits things are improving. Some of the apps are tasty and the oysters are good most of the time. Also seems server knowledge is getting better. Still wish it wasnt packed with families early and then bros drinking crap beer later.“

“I’m a fan of this place. A good beer line up. service is adequate for how busy they are. Good happy hour specials. Food is decent, oysters are tasty and fresh. The prices are reasonable. The only issue is how long it takes to get a table if you have 6+ people coming. Otherwise, welcome to Exton.“

“For the area, probably has the largest tap list and variety. A lot of great beers and always a firkin. Haven't seen one "rare" beer yet. Family friendly and had a nice time during our visit. Will definitely go back. Food was so-so and if its the same on my next visit, I won't go there to eat anymore.“

“Atmosphere here feels exactly like you would expect....big corporate bar/restaurant in the applebees/chilis mold. Draft selection is decent...local heavy...and bottles are ok. Menu is over presented and underserved with way too many options to weed through. Staff is friendly and prices are fair. They chill glasses which I hate.“

“They’ve improved the service and beer selection greatly here over the years. Sadly, I’ve grown to think that the pizzas here suck, but that may be just that I dislike Chicago-style deep-dish. The other food is good, the service is solid, but with the Drafting Room and Victory right down the road, this place doesn;t stand a chance.“

“Nice restaurant bar. We went down for the first night of Philly Beer Week and they had 6 solid IPAs on tap for $4.50 each. There house brew is solid from Weyerbacher. Pizza is solid. It’s never too crowded here so you can usually get a seat or a table in the bar area. Nice tvs.“

“Great Neighborhood Bar in Exton. Above average food, rotating taps so there is always something new to try, tons of bottles to choose from as well. Its great in the warm months to sit on the patio and drink a cold IPA.“
