“Visited 24/10/2022. Best bottle shop I found in Pyrmont. Two full fridges with a wide range of breweries and styles. Took 8 cans out, could have got double that easy. Jim the manager was very friendly and well informed. Suggest visiting here if you’re staying in or visiting the area.“

“Visited 24/10/2022. 5 minute walk up from Pyrmont Bridge and best place I found in Pyrmont for craft beer. Had a number of new breweries on, very craft/micro focused, there were more new breweries I could have had from the 25-30 taps if I’d had more time. Used to have a really bad rep, but now (except for not doing paddles) it’s a very good beer destination.“

“Visited 24/10/2022. Easiest place to check out if coming across Pyrmont Bridge. Large multi-level building. Gets busy, sport focused, open 24 hours. Maybe 20 different beers on tap, but not very exciting range. $10 burger lunch was good value, beers were expensive, Gets raucous at night apparently but was quiet daytime when we spent a couple of hours in here avoiding Sydney rain playing pool at $3 a game. Bottle shop attached is disappointing.“

“Visited January 15 for lunch, so the meal was a bit cheaper, had a nice chicken burger. Several taps of micros and macros. Different floors, had a place with a view over Darling Harbour.“

“Corner pub in Pyrmont, exposed brick and concrete, high stools, a few sofas. I was there at 8pm Saturday night and it was super-busy then strangely quiet then super-busy again! Odd. Good range of taps (a lot of Wayward beers when I was there) but service was erratic and general housekeeping not what It could be (the place was 1/4 full for a while but tables of half-eaten food and glasses were not cleared). Probably good for an afternoon or mid-week visit as the beer I had was delicious.“

“A really great venue pouring NSW and other craft brews that is well worth a visit in Sydney. It’s in a really old venue which has been well renovated (without going overboard) with a couple of different outdoor and indoor spaces. About 20 beers on tap when I visited and a good range of bottles too. An excellent venue!“

“Visited several times in April 2016. Large pub with 2 floors and a large terrace out the back that’s popular with families. Has a big kitchen that produces decent pub food for good prices. Beer range is a mix of Macro and a couple of craft beers so it’s not a must do beer destination. If you’re in the area then have a look, the service is good and you might catch a new beer. I did!“

“Visited several times in April 2016. Large pub with a roof terrace and 3 floors at the end of the Pyrmont Birdge over Darling Harbour. It’s open 24 hours so is handy for a late night tick or two. It has a mix of macro and a few craft taps including beers from Wayward and some of the smaller breweries in Sydney. Beer quality was good and prices OK. It’s really handy for late scoops and you can relax and watch the world go by all night. Not the best in Sydney but handy to know it’s always open!“

“Visited on 7th April 2016. Large corner pub in Pyrmont. It’s a rugby pub and has a large ball plus memorbilia all over the pub. Amidst the normal Carlton and VB there are 6 taps for local craft beers. Young Henry’s features and a cider is always on. The range isn’t the most exciting but is decent enough. The food is a good mix of good pub food and Thai and is good value. It’s a nice, modern place, lots of room, a terrace and kids are allowed in. Decent enough spot.“

“Visited a few times again in March and April 2016. Now has upstairs bar with 6 taps in addition to the 24 downstairs and 2 handpulls. Great range of Australian craft beer from NSW and beyond. Really nice pub too. Food looks good but not tried it. Don’t understand how this place isn’t more highly rated. It hasn’t got an international range on but is great for Aussie beer. Holds tap takeovers and other events. This is one of the best places in Sydney for beer I reckon. A must visit. Visited several times around Christmas 2013, 2 handpumps (generally one on) and a decent selection of Craft beers from across Australia. Pub has been renovated and has an outdoor terrace and air con plus the obligatory pokies. Worth a look and only a 10-15 min walk from City Centre over the Pyrmont Bridge across Darling Harbour“

“Came here on a lively weekend evening. It has a younger crowd and staff. Good list by Sydney standards, but the staff that evening was a little lackluster in the knowledge department. Still, I would recommend this place because it’s in a character building and is bound to have something tasty you’re going to want to drink.“

“Quarryman is up the hill from Darling Harbour. They have 20 or so taps, and the selection on my visit was excellent. All Aussie brews, great variety and some of them were very good. So I sense that whoever chooses the beer has excellent knowledge. Good vibe, I would return.“

“Pleasant corner pub slightly away from Darling Harbour. Two dozen taps with plenty of interesting beers on tap, notably the recent GABS beers on my visit. From the outside it looks like any other corner hotel pub but the interior has had a makeover at some point, and to great effect. Exposed brick and garden bar like atmosphere throughout is a nice touch. I grabbed some snack food but it was forgettable. Bar staff seemed knowledgeable with the different styles of brews on tap.“
