“The Common Beer Company has a small storefront in downtown Mason, just to the northeast of Warped Wing and 16 Lots, forming an easy day trip to hit all 3. There are some tables on the porch and a patio in back, with a small taproom seating area inside. It was quite crowded when we visited. There are 14 taps but likely to be a few out at any time. They had a few bottles for sale, as well, in 12 oz. format. Flights are a bit on the pricy end - $14 for 4 or $18 for 6. The beer is fine, nothing special. On par with the area. Service was good but overwhelmed with the crowd (there were more people here than the much bigger 16 Lots). They have a few snacks but otherwise not a food place. Overall, a worthy stop if you're in Mason and it's easy to hit a few places in one trip.“

“16 Lots is in a strip mall in Mason, just at the south end of the "downtown" strip, near Warped Wing and The Common Brewery, forming an easy 3-brewery day trip. It's a nice interior space given the exterior and surroundings. Front patio, too. Long bar on the right, plenty of tables, and a pizza window (Mad Monks Pizza) on the far right corner. The pizza is pretty good, too. Service is good, prices are fair. There are some bottles and cans to go. The beer is okay, with the stouts a little disappointing but the haze surprisingly good. If you're in Mason, this is a worthy stop along with the others in the immediate area.“

“Warped Wing opened a big new location out in Mason, between The Common Beer Company and 16 Lots, creating a mile strip with 3 breweries. In typical Mason fashion, this one looks like a McMansion in its design. There are two levels of seating with bars on both. It's really a restaurant format- "please wait to be seated" when you enter, although I really just wanted to pop in and have a beer and check the place out. The food menu is barbecue-based but has burgers and chicken and some other things. There are about 20 taps with good variety of styles along with some bottles and cans that can be had on site or taken home. Their beer is average, I'd say. Server was friendly. If you're out in Mason and hitting the breweries here, it's a worthy stop.“

“Visited this place because I know krogers are good for mixed sixes of local brews. I was not disappointed. Very good selection for only $10 per mixed six, Found at least 2 sixers here of mixed locales. Glad I stopped. They also have a nice selection of freshly made hot food and bakery items. We got a rotisserie chicken and some fresh cole slaw. Lovely experience. Yea, the mixed sixers are only $10 each, nice I love that.“

“Finally visited Sonder for the first time on a Friday night in summer. We got a picnic table out on the large patio, which is quite large. There was also a large tent on what appeared to be astroturf, but that was for a private event while we were there. The inside is a big square room with a high ceiling and huge bar. They have about 20 taps color coded in three different tiers for pricing and crowler/growler availability. All the beers I had were good. Prices are a bit high for the area, maybe a buck or two higher than anticipated (not posted on the menu, either). Food is through a counter off to the side, run by BrewRiver, which has a restaurant down on Riverside. The chef is touted as "best of the north" in the Cincy metro, but the north suburbs are mostly chain restaurants. The food is fine. Good, but nothing special. And some asshole before us ordered like $300 worth of food so the wait was over an hour. Anyway, there aren't many other good beer places up in this area, which is huge and spread out, so this is a very good option in Mason. (There are a couple other breweries up there now, but I haven't visited. This is the best option within a 10-15 minute or so radius, at least, though.)“

“went here on a busy Saturday. Commercial area with plenty of parking. No clue of they do flights or have wifi. Kid friendly - you can use chalk on part of the walls. Got a few ticks here, but struggled to find new beers. 50/50 local and macro. Had the shrimp carbonara which was good. Not going to comment on service as most restaurants are short-staffed these days.“

“Near the WLW radio tower. plenty of parking though I walked there from the Kitty Brew Café. Open space and loud even though there were only like 10 guests as we walked in. Giant shuffle board table. Has food: pizza. knowledgeable staff: brewer was behind bar at time to answer questions. does flights. has wifi. kids would like it for the games, maybe not the darts. I found it lacked character. Beer was decent.“

“Visited for dinner on a Monday. I have actually eaten here several times, and decided to add. They do a good job of rotating local beers, with a really detailed menu that is always up to date. Everytime I have visited, they have had something new and interesting from the likes of Listerman, Taft, etc. Service is restaurant efficient, food is tasty - wood fired pizza is above average. If you are staying in the area (many hotels within walking distance), this a great option for food and beer.

70 = **½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“A little too commercial looking for me, feels like a suburb place. However, they offer flights at a good price and they had a few very good beers. I'd come back.“

“Visited after dinner on a Monday. The place had opened three days previous, so certainly still early days. The brewery is located in an office park area and the building is quite large, with a huge parking lot and a large outdoor heated biergarten. The interior is bright and shiny with a giant bar, and long tables throughout. Truly built to handle large crowds. Design is pretty bare bones at this point, and I am sure they will soften the noise and decor over time. Food is available from a Brew River stall. Beer selection is 7 house beers and 1 house cider. Available as full pours, or 4 oz tasters. 32 oz crowlers available to go. Service was efficient, and very prompt. Good crowd hanging out watching Monday Night Football, I had a good time and am sure I will be back.

“Visited after dinner on a Wednesday. Located in a strip mall sort of place. Interior is big and open with a tons of seating at the bar, tables and on the outdoor front patio. Selection was 12 house beers +1 cider. House beers were a variety of styles, though nothing too crazy. Happy, lively, local crowd was there for Trivia Night. Mad monks pizza located inside, order separately. They have a nice shuffleboard table. Overall, fun place to visit with a great vibe.

“Locals hangout with what I was told by a bar regular as having "the best draft selection around". Good selection of local and regional offerings that are rotated constantly and updated on their website via taphunter. The bar manager had an obvious passion/knowledge for good beer and freely handed out large samples without asking. I was disappointed during my visit that Zombie Dust had kicked 20 minutes prior to my arrival as it was the sole reason for going. I could see it being a regular stop if I lived locally.“

“Visited on a Sunday afternoon, on my way out of town. This location’s selection had a nice melange of local (Ohio and the surrounding area) beers, along with cool stuff from sought after breweries from around the country and Europe. Prices were very good in comparison with retailers in Pennsylvania, and about on par with what you would expect in other beer stores in Ohio. The staff was extremely friendly, and offered to help in procuring selections. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and worth stopping into when in the area and in need of excellent craft beer.“

“This has to be the smallest Whole Foods I have been in. For a store this size they have a decent beer selection that is all in one cooler area. What they lack in size they make up for in quality. Picked up 5 bombers of local brews all for around $5. They even had a 3L of Double Arrogant Bastard(I think, could have been regular AB) and 3L of the Blue Chimay which was pretty cool I guess. Had some singles as well. Worth a stop if in the area.“

“Pretty good selection for a grocery store. You won’t find any of the fringe high end micros like Alesmith but you’ll see a few 3Fs and all of the old standbys. In the absence of a true beer-geek store this place suffices. I used to stop here frequently on my way home because you aren’t going to find Arrogant Bastard or Stone Ruination at Kroger.“
