UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Bottle, 7.4%. Dusty and papery aroma, a little disappointing, but perhaps a hint of liquorice. Black colour, seems unclear. Fizzy dark brown head. The flavour is sweet and spicy with a papery touch. Fizzy carbonation, and quite low. Late chocolate and molasses notes. According to the label, there are spices in it, but they are quite subtle.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2021 Bottle. Pours opaque dark brownish black with small brown head. Aroma is rotated malt, ground coffee, espresso, salty liquorice, prunes and faint hints of brackish water. Taste is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finish is medium long and mostly sweet with notes of rotated malt, milk, coffee, chocolate, apricot, prunes and hints of spice (cardamom, ginger and nutmeg). Unbalanced. Aroma is slightly unpleasant and taste a weird mixture of rotated malt and dried fruit.

Appearance: pours clear black with powerful tan soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: caramel, chocolate, spices, cinnamon and dried fruit notes. palette: strong malty and medium spicy aroma, light sparkling carbonation, medium to full body, medium to notable sweetness, somewhat balanced by a medium bitterness, average duration and an oily texture. overall: well balanced spiced porter - great stuff

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2018 En komplex porter med smakförnimmelser från rostad malt och kryddor. Söt och stark men alkoholen tränger inte igenom. Inköpt i en fransk vinbutik (!) i Roskilde. En porter "for slow drinking".

Bottle. Black color With large creamy light brown mostly diminishing head. Aroma is roasted malt With notes of chokolade. Heavy sweet flavor. Creamy palate.

Black, small beige head. Roasted aroma, licorice and chocolate. flavour has hard roasted malt, licorice. Lasting, roasted bitterness.

Tap at SKAAL, thanks Jens! Pours dark, almost black. Nose is super spicy, some cloves, cardamon, gingerbread cookies, perfect Christmas nose. Taste is going forward with some very similar characteristics, displaying some Christmas spices, gingerbread and lots of sweetness. Good stuff, enjoying this.

A Black beer with No head, the aroma is dominated by the dark malt and liqorice, the sent is exceptionel, and the carbonation is mild. The Taste is dark fruity, blums and so on. Great Winter beer

Farven er dejlig m?rk som en porter skal v?re. Smagen af ristet malt, kaffe , chokolade, karamel, lidt frugtig til sidste med lidt spicy aroma! :) Lidt t?r men overall en dejlig jule porter!
