UPDATED: MAR 8, 2020 Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up in the US. Bottle aged about 7 years or so. Pours deep brown, clear, with a modest, foamy beige head. A nice blue collar impy stout, not overly sweet, lots of ashy roast, spent tobacco, scorched earth, baking cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, dry and ashy, more sturdy roast, charcoal. Good stout.

Bottle [from trade thanks!] @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, medium to full sized beige to mocha colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, some roast. Taste malts, softly roasty, roast bitter a bit. Hmm don't get much more. Quite solid, but I had higher hopes somehow.
