COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Founders take on a classic style, brewed with a generous amount of flaked oats, chocolate malt, roasted barley and a healthy helping of Nugget hops, Founders Oatmeal Stout is nitrogen-infused to give it an extra smooth and creamy mouthfeel. An attractive cascade effect gives this beer its forthright visual appeal—and the body and clean flavor delivers on that initial promise.

I'm not sure I've met a beer on nitro that I haven't liked. I'm not a huge fan of oatmeal stouts, but this one from Founders on nitro at the Railroad was outstanding! The beer poured a black color with a beautiful, cascading body that settled softly, but firmly at the top of the glass. The nose was semi-sweet, with notes of chocolate, malts, a touch of cream and oats. The body was silky-smooth and so enjoyable. I could have sat there all night and enjoyed pint after pint of this delicious stout. The flavors were well-balanced and tasty, with notes of milk chocolate, cream, oats, light hops and a hint of sugar. This was one outstanding stout!
