UPDATED: MAY 4, 2024 Helder geelkleurig bier met een witte 2-vingerdikke schuimkraag van gemiddelde structuur en een gemiddelde hoeveelheid opstijgende koolzuurbelletjes. Ik ruik een zoete geur van de mout en een licht kruidige geur van de hop. In de smaak komt de hop nog sterker naar voren. Het bier heeft een droge afdronk.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2024 0,5l bottle from Billa, tasted at Podersdorf am See, clear golden liquid, light malty and noble hopt aroma, light floral, Taste: light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter, light sour, malty, subtle bready, subtle nobl hop notes, Palate: light body, soft to average carbonation, slick mouthfeel, medium long malty sweetish aftertaste. Overall: lacks more bitterness for a Pilsner, could have little more carbonation, enjoyed.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2023 12/11/2023. Bottle from Marek. Austrian beer #100. Pours almost clear pale golden amber with a large firm frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, citrus, grass. Medium sweetness and bitterness, with sweetness dominating more to finish. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Crisp clean pils. Enjoyed this more then expected.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2023 On tap at Stiegl-Klosterhof, Linz Saturday 26th August 2023 after a cycle ride from Camping Kaltenbrock, Wilhering. Pours clear straw - gold with a large white head, looks good, grassy hoppiness. Nice bitterness, lingers somewhat, little pithy citrus, dry finish, good.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2023 Bottle. Color: Clear pale golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, bit hoppy. Taste: Malty with a decent citrus and floral hoppy background. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2023 Draught at Stiegl-Keller in Salzburg. Clear golden with full head. Light malt aroma with some nettles. Fresh malty taste and balanced bitterness.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2023 On tap at The Beer Cellar-Glen Ellyn, IL. as a 9 oz. serving to a house snifter, showing a clear & bright, golden hue, with a fluffy layer of white froth, and doily-like spray as lacing. The nose was Pils malt/light lager scent, moderate grass, herb, a hint of spice, and slight corn. Medium- bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, with lively carbonation, and earthy, rind, and slight pepper bitterness. Clean, crisp, & slightly dry. Benchmark German Pils that I've enjoyed in bottles many times but neglected to review!
