Goldbarren (5525) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - DEC 20, 2019

bilcho1 (1568) - Ruse, BULGARIA - JUL 25, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2019 330ml bottle from Lidl, drunk overlooking the Sea Garden in Burgas on a perfect July evening. Pours clear golden orange with not much head, loads of lacing and fast-rising carbonation. On the nose, bitter ripe citrus, spices, honey and caramel. In the mouth, astringency from the start, high carbonation, mid bitterness rising at the end, flavours of citrus, papaya, honey and spices, dryness that limits the texture, some sweetness before a short, sharply bitter finish. Like a highly carbonated, old-school English Bitter. Quite good if you like that sort of thing.

mcberko (41820) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 23, 2018
On tap at Pynnikin, pours a clear copper golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops, biscuity malt and some mineraly notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops and dry biscuity malt. The hop expression is more bitter than flavourful, and finishes dry and somewhat metallic. Not good.
