Taste: smokey dark toasted chocolate malt, coffee notes, bittersweet with dry like finish. Same with the nose. Black/brown hue, mostly opaque, with delicate head and lace. Medium/full body. Balanced.

Draft to taster at Olde Peninsula. Looks good for the style; a semi-opaque dark cola with light beige head. Smells of dark malt, chocolate, and roast. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A solid example of the style.

This one poured a medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was roast, chocolate, and skunk. Flavor was similar, i really hate places that is clear growlers.

Had on draft at the brewpub. Definitely a dry, medium bodied stout, with notes of coffee and chocolate present. Overall, not too bad.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a black with medium tan head. Some lacing. Coffee aroma. Flavor of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Lots of roasted maltiness. Nice bitterness. Dry finish. Like some of the other OP brews this one has gotten better over the years. Would recommend

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and sweet malt. Flavor of sweet malt with some roasty notes. This is a rather plain stout flavor-wise, although it is easy drinking. Overall a decent stout if you’re not looking for something super special. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]

Tap at brewpub. Pours a dark brown with a small head. light roasted malts. dust cocoa. Not terribly exciting, but could be worse. would stick with the forest street ipa over this.
