MicroGrog (3254) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - APR 13, 2024
UPDATED: APR 13, 2024 Bottlecraft, Little Italy, 2/24. Dense, hazy, dull cherry, lacy, stagnant pour. Cherry medicinal, herbal hop nose. Deep cherry, vinous, soda burn, lime, slightly medicinal. More tart then sour. Bruin finally comes through on the finish. I remember this being better.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2023 Bottle at home in NH. Picked up from the brewery. Pours clear reddish brown with a bubbly, light tan head. Light to medium sweet with moderate acidity, some nice tart berries, a bit of leather, salty bite, mild acetic tickle, raspberry, cherry and strawberry. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Fairly clean in the finish, drying, more tart and leathery berries, relaxed funk. Great depth, massively drinkable. A classic.

chinhaez (416) - Ouray CO, Colorado, USA - OCT 3, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2021 Bottle. Amber-Brown pour that is translucent. Head is off white and quickly fades to a fine film. Aroma is big and bold with soured cherries, grapes and some funky garbage pail brett. The taste is sour cherries, woodiness and a zinfandel winey character. The palate is light and oily with prickly carbonation. Finishes long with linger tart oaked fruits. overall: Top Shelf stuff. Very complex. Paired well with a artisanal gouda cheese.
