UPDATED: NOV 28, 2019 Golden marmalade on tap. Such an amazing beer that has that sticky resiny goodness with a bold bitter punch. High ABV, loads of fun.

blaface (230) - Collaroy Plateau, AUSTRALIA - NOV 7, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2019 Tap. Pours slightly hazy gold with solid white head. Aroma of citrus and resin. All of which follows through on the flavour end with big malty backbone and bitterness

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 Golden in colour with a huge bouquet of fruit aromas which are matches in the flavour. Big bitterness hit but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

2017 version on tap at Saccharomyces Beer Cafe. A hazy amber brew with fruity hop nose. Significant malt sweetness balanced by hop bitterness but finish is still a bit sticky. Surprishingly easy drinking as EtOH is well masked.

TedE (2688) - Glen Innes, AUSTRALIA - APR 13, 2017
Taster on tap at Basement Brewhouse Bankstown. Nose of fruit, earth(rocks?), funkiness and the distant dry horizon. Flat golden amber beer with thin film of suds on top. Thick oily texture, coats the mouth with piney minty goodness. Amazing. Fresh but strong. A (very) late night beer. Probably with good strong cheese.

Niksko (644) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 29, 2016
On tap at Beer Deluxe. Pours a hazy golden orange with a fluffy off whit head. Nose is insane hoppy goodness, grapefruit, pine, stone fruit, dank, sweet, seductive. Flavor is all the same things, bitter, with a syrupy mouth feel and crazy hop burps. So special, so wonderfully hoppy, so crazy fresh. So glad I made the effort to get on the Tusk train.

mcberko (42066) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2016
On tap at The Grain Store Beer Cafe, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out rich resinous hops, caramel malt and some residual candied sugar. Flavour is on the sweet side, with loads of caramel, residual candied sugar sweetness and resinous hops. Too sweet and more like a hoppy barley wine. Still, quite nice for what it is. Enjoyable slow sweet sipper.
