UPDATED: JUN 1, 2023 Clear straw body with a big foamy head. Aroma is caramel, bread, and mild citrus. Taste is mild herbal, earth, caramel malt sweetness, and nuts. Texture is lighter and crisp.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2023 Did Mozart drink beer? I’ll have to ask AI. This Lager is made in the Vienna-style with notes of bread, toffee, caramel, and nuts.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2022 On tap @ pFriem. Clear amber beer with an off-white head. Really nice toast, caramel, and biscuit malts as a base. Good sweetness and chewy malt character. Maybe a touch of toasted marshmallow. A touch of floral and grassy hops with a light earthy bitterness. Has a pretty good body on it as well. Good balance of sweetness and hops and has plenty of malt character without being overly sweet.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2021 Bottle from Tavour. Pours clear darkish copper (or amber) with a large foamy near-white head. Aroma of toffee and nuts. Med body. Flavor is slighty nutty, somewhat toffee, and a bit grassy. Fairly dry; moderately bitter; good flavor. It has a slight hop bite.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2020 Nice amber color with a modest head, nice traditional hops fragrance and lots of notes of grape seed bitterness.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2020 Bottle from the Taverooni. This brewski is a beautski, hypnotic crystal clear copper with a lasting medium fluffy white head. Aroma is cereal grains, caramel, toffee, lightly toasted bread. Flavor is well balanced, sweet nutty and toffee notes fading to earthy and grassy hops. Medium body with a very crispyboi feel. For a weenie lager, I have to say pFriem may need to rebrand as pWeenie because this Wiener is weenieer than the wieners cooked up by the actual Wieners of Wien (a.k.a. Vienna for you philistinians). Wienertastic.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2021 Feb 1 2020 Growler from Growler Guys. Fantastic rich amber, white head. Wonderful toasty aromas and all the right malt character. Yeast abundant but never over the top, so clean, rich, gently sweet, subtle hop close. Masterful. March 13 20201 Bottle from Last Drop Amazing. All of the above stands. Could even be 4.1. Fantastic.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2019 Medium amber with a white head and a clear body. Light malty aroma. Malty body with a clear finish. There is hop in this.

Bottle (500ml). Deep clear golden with soapy white head. Taste is strong malts and slightly sweet bread. Light carbonation, medium body. There is also a little spiciness. Great Lager.
