UPDATED: JAN 18, 2019 Pours a deep and dark brown. Minimal mocha head that dissipates quickly. Nose is cocoa powder and espresso. Wants to be a stout really bad. Medium thick brew with a well balanced creamy mouthfeel. Brownie batter, medium roast coffee, charcoal, and sweet blackberries. Finishes smooth with lingering bittersweet chocolate and ash. Low carbonation but very well done.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2020 Very nice porter. Creamy and smooth. One to have again. And here we are again, a year and a half later. Still creamy and smooth, chocolatey. Decent head that lasts. One to have again and again! (but not too many in one sitting)

Taste on draft at Trail's End. Pours dark brown, with a small, tan head. Light sherry nose, with some mild coffee, pipe smoke, and caramel. Sweet and lightly roasted. Medium body, with a smooth, silky, and thin mouthfeel. This is a fun and nicely aromatic porter.

rauchbierlover (3459) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 7, 2018
330cl bottle. Served in TeKu. Deep black body with a small, quite persistent beige head. Aroma of coffee and wood. Taste is bitter: coffee, plums, roasted malts. Finish is dry, but somehow malty with vanilla notes. Full bodied, soft carbonation, chewy texture.
