HogTownHarry (9241) - London (Mitcham), Ontario, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2024
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2024 September 17, 2022 - at Beer Merchants Tap - on keg, with harrisoni. Looks a bit like a glass of cola - red-black, nice beige head. Tart, fruity aroma - raisin, prune and coffee - and alcohol, but not 6% - not sure how to describe it, but I loved it, really different, and at cold keg temp too. Taste follows, more roast, a bit less fruity. Light body, very mild carbonation, medium-quick roasty finish, very interesting overroast coffee aftertaste. One of the better beers I'd had in a while.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2023 A black hole of a bottle´ of yesteryear dark mild. Light Porterish demeanour. Very slight bread and butter pudding on nose, without spices Lovely, almost single cream´ mouthful, with butter scotch, fruity hints Not at all over sweet - almost a pleasurable reluctance on swallowing... But swallow I did. Aye..! Hit the spot!
