Quite possibly the best sour I've ever tasted. Poured from tap into tulip at edmunds oast. Got the last pour. Nose and taste both were light on the vinegar with some nice sour red wine notes. Absolutely delicious.

On tap at Kickbacks, probably in the top 3 of all the beers I had on this trip to Florida, man this was awesome, 2008 version, pours a dark brownish red that’s clear with a bubbly head, the aroma was a little sweeter than I was expecting with just a touch of sourness and funk, but just enough to let you know it’s going to taste awesome, the flavor has a funky dark sour fruit front end with some caramel and dark fruit in the finish, so light and refreshing at the same time, oh man, I had several pours of this and do not regret it for one second.

On draft at Kickbacks for RBWG Welcome Dinner. Yowza! Pours a red-brown with an off-white head. Nose is vinegar funk, sour fruit, oak, cherry, and some light sweetness from the malt. Flavor follows the nose with some tartness, some vinous character, some mild sweetness, and some tart cherries. Medium in body and a top-notch sour overall.

2/12/13. On tap at Kickback’s... reserved for RBWG ’13... shhhh... 2008 vintage. Holy crap this stuff is awesome. Nice red brown pour with a thick khaki head that sticks and laces plenty. Awesome aroma of funk, plenty of sour, a hint of oak and spice, and a dash of cherry. The flavor parallels with an awesome sour kick, plenty of cherry, some funk, with wood, spice, and cream in there. To quote hopscotch - this beer rocks!

Shared by one of the guys, can’t remember. Thanks! The beer appears a pretty ruby hue with a soft head that leaves sparse lacing in its wake. The aroma brings cherries, cider, oak, vinegar. Smells great. The taste delivers as well. I’ve been anxious to try this beer for quite some time and it does not disappoint. Acetic and tart, yet highly drinkable. Potent aroma and a bold flavor. Light to medium in body with a zesty finish. A strong example of the style. I would most definitely have this again.
