Large dark brown head with fair retention and a skimpy bit of lacing. YUP, fuckin black color. Nose of light cedar, chocolate, vanilla and roast. Body is med/full and oily on the palate, soft carbo, touch tangy. Cedar has dropped off with mostly chocolate and slight roast notes left behind, touch of soy and tobacco, cocoa and light smoke. Finish is fairly dry, slight roast and nominal wood. 750 from a trade with trycyclist about 4 years ago. Thanks bro!

Another awesome grew from cigar city. Dark pour and tan head. Great imperial stout with coffee and roasted malts, both in aroma and flavor. The ideal part of this is the awesome Spanish cedar dimension! You all gotta try this brew.

Dark black pour... Thick viscous black pour, aroma of Spanish cedar, tobacco... Flavor is sweet with slightly soy notes, anise, licorice, chocolate... Decent, little too much soy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black oily pour with very little carbonation. Complex aroma of bitter chocolate, roast malt, alcohol. The flavor is sweet and complex. Some bitterness and soy in the finish. Almost too much. Cedar didn’t show up anywhere.

75cl, at 11%Vol, as Cigar City Humidor Series ’Imperial Stout’, exclusive American brew, thx alot to Dirk for sharing!, very complex Stout, woody/spicy/roasted and slightly smoked/fruity, heavy, yet balanced, cloudy, small head, very good brew, ’Sadly, the cedar didn’t add anything to the already wonderful Imperial Stout’
