COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hybrid of classic brewing cultures, brought to you courtesy of DEYA and SMOD. An English pale bitter made using a Bavarian style decoction mash in an attempt to draw out the maltiness of Fraconian lager beer. Hopped with Admiral, Bramling Cross and Challenger from Brookhouse Hops.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2021 Cask, yes cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 7th October 2021. Rich amber, hazy, with a loose foam and full lacing. Zesty aroma with leafiness. Full-on bitterness in-mouth rounded pleasantly by a good measure of caramel malt. A solid bitter finish that builds with each sip/gulp. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Superb.

Fin (17300) - Innernzell, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2021 Can as take out from Hop Lords Beer Café and Bottle Shop, Worcester. Consumed at Mum and Keiths, Kempsey Worcestershire, Thursday 7th October 2021. Pours mid gold with a mid sized white head. Wow this is great to see Deya and SMODS take on a classic style. Loving the English hoppiness straight away, a little earthy, rustic and wet woodland feel, smooth mouthfeel, a really nice quaffer, sweetness initially but then sustained but measured bitterness, some fruit, this is great.

Garrold (10727) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2021 Can, courtesy of Dann and Martha. Cheers! Moderate haze on a medium gold. Fine white head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has ginger biscuit malt. Touch of perfumed hop. Leafy and spicy overall. Taste has a soft sweetness before getting a punchy, leafy hop bitterness. Smooth and super easy drinking with fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Pretty fantastic bitter, and one I’d love to try on cask. Think it’d be a complete blinder.
