Sammy (19214) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 10, 2024
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2024 Very satisfying and inexpensive acquisition from Holiday mart last early summer. Very satisfying.

alobar (5610) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2024
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2024 Pours a cloudy chestnut brown with an aroma of chocolate, coffee, and dark fruit. Creamy body with dark fruit, coffee flavors with a milk chocolate finish

zizzybalubba (2214) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 31, 2023
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2023 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Virginia Beach, VA (bottled December 5, 2022). Dark brown pour with a frothy beige head. Aroma of toffee, graham cracker, and brown sugar. Taste features graham cracker and faint traces of coffee. Pleasant bitter finish which is subtly sweet but not cloying. Great for this style but Scottish ales are just not my thing in general. (I should also note that as of this review in October 2023 this is only my 2nd Scottish Ale ranking. Three Floyds Robert The Bruce was previously reviewed. While the Rate Beer score is very similar for these two beers I gave Aggromaster a significantly higher score. With those ratings occurring 13 years apart it's hard to say what that means. I should also note that the bottle reviewed here was almost 1 year old. It may be worth seeking out a newer bottle and it may be worth exploring this styler further to gain a better appreciation.)

Shag (3602) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - MAY 13, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2023 A pitch black appearance with a tan head. The flavor contains some caramel, coffee, chocolate, and earthy notes. The flavor is very coffee forward with some dark chocolate, licorice, and caramel. This hybrid is probably 75% coffee stout 25% scotch ale but either way it's very tasty.

3.2
hopdog (25083) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2023
UPDATED: APR 14, 2023 12oz bottle. Poured a brown color with a smaller sized tan head. Expected more from this ... more of a roasty brown ale with some coffee.

Mr.Spooks (4989) - Tennessee, USA - APR 8, 2023
UPDATED: APR 8, 2023 A damn near-perfect coffee beer. Finds a beautiful harmony between the moderately roasted malt notes and bright java intensity. Mildly sweet, slightly acidic, with tons of roast and a lingering but manageable mocha bitterness. Great pint.

Tmoney99 (21210) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 19, 2023
UPDATED: MAR 19, 2023 Draft. Poured clear black color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted coffee and dark malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy dark sweet flavor with a moderate to heavy dark sweet finish of medium to long duration. This good beer met my expectations.

nuplastikk (9896) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 5, 2023
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2023 12oz bottle. Definitely one of my favorite FFF beers in recent memory. Booming coffee tone, with a base beer that is malty enough to ride with it. Usually I would be the one to say this would be better without the coffee, but in this case they really match up well and it rather excellently executed. Solid.

shrubber85 (15120) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 15, 2023
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2023 Black coffee, caramel malt, and hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with large tan head. Moderately sweet coffee, caramel malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body.

Drake (21771) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 28, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2022 12 ounce bottle, 10/26/22. Hazy orangebrown, thin tan head, below average retention. Aroma of strong coffee, caramel, roast. Taste is roast, cherry, coffee, vanilla. Slick. Nice.
