The beer is really good at the former, but not good at the latter. Russian River has great pizza. Almost everything at Jackie O’s is locally sourced, adding to their charm. I love the tri-tip steak-focused menu at Taft’s. Paffgen in Cologne had one of the heartiest, most satisfying meals I’ve ever eaten. Thai Me Up (Melvin) has great curries, and obviously a much different menu than any other brewpub. I like places with short menus that are all killer, no filler and rotate often. Perennial, The Civil Life, Urban Chestnut.
Message fly P beers 1490 º places 271 º 13:52 Mon 7/18/2016 Completely forgot local brewpub - if it counts - NXNW. They often have really great meals there. I wish I liked/loved the beers as much, but then the beers can be quite good.
