Looks like I am an Eastern European that rates like an American. |
That image was kinda vaguely alright, I guess. |
Amerika is great again. |
I am really curious whether on average Americans score a beer higher then Europeans do. We basically all assume it's the case but is there a way to pull some data from the site to check this assumption? |
I think the first graph more or less reflects how I describe beers. The second might be more reflective of how I rate them, depending on how one assigns numbers to those descriptions. |

I reserve below 1 for drainpours. Which I haven't had yet. Even the macro lagers which I usually dislike. 1 to 2 is actively dislike would not drink again (but will still finish). 2 to 3 is flawed, mild dislike. 3 to 3.5 or so is mediocre, nothing notable, nothing in particular to dislike. 3.5 to 4 is like, mostly positive, definitely would buy again (if I weren't seeking new ticks). 4 to 4.5 is a wonderful beer drinking experience, what the hobby is about. 4.5 to 4.9 is near perfect, and 5 I guess would be perfect, beyond belief (I have given no 5s). |
