Even the macro lagers which I usually dislike. 1 to 2 is actively dislike would not drink again (but will still finish). 2 to 3 is flawed, mild dislike. 3 to 3.5 or so is mediocre, nothing notable, nothing in particular to dislike. 3.5 to 4 is like, mostly positive, definitely would buy again (if I weren't seeking new ticks). 4 to 4.5 is a wonderful beer drinking experience, what the hobby is about. 4.5 to 4.9 is near perfect, and 5 I guess would be perfect, beyond belief (I have given no 5s). I note this leads me to rate about 4 tenths of a point higher than everyone else, on average. Its a tad less generous than I used to rate. I have tried to be less generous, but at this point that would mean going back and rerating almost everything, in order to be consistent. As it is several of my early ratings I know I would rate lower now.
