What makes you think that? They don’t mention anything like that on their website, which of course does not mean a lot in and of itself. |
Originally posted by bytemesis The menus say they’re brewed at Working Man and I have seen bottles in the past (Pleasonton BevMo) and those identify them as brewed at Working Man. The ABVs and styles match existing (core) Working Man beers... I’m going to guess that they’re pretty much the same beers but we’ll never be able to prove that. |
I feel like broneugs told us a year or two ago that they were made at Altamont. Maybe that’s changed, or maybe im remembering that wrong. |
I can dig into it. At the least we should change them to contact beers if the menu says it... |
I sent them a message/question. We will see how that works. In the meantime, our friend b00by can check if they have an active license at all. |
Originally posted by bytemesis The restaurant has a liquor license, but its a type 47 "general eating place". There are a few places in saucelito and taco places with name Saucedo but not other sauce/sauced instances. https://www.abc.ca.gov/datport/LQSdata.asp?ID=61631495 I did find a company (they appear to be out of business now) called Get Sauced International, sounds like an excellent name. All that is to say that they are not actually brewing anything. To be honest though I’m not sure what a company needs for a liquor license to contract elsewhere. I’m assuming these beers are going out through Working Man distribution channels? |
They have the liquor license for the restaurant: http://www.ratebeer.com/p/sauced-bbq-spirits/50814/ |
