If I have to go elsewhere to see what's happening on the forums I guess I will not use them any more. As I am so inactive that is not a real loss to the site or to me, but multiplied by every other casual user, and the forums may end up just being peopled by the hard core forum users only.

In a week and a half, if we feel ready, we will move everyone over by changing the links across the site to reference the new forum. We expect a learning curve, an initial dip in usage and some grumbling. But later we expect usage to improve based on ease of use, the rich feature set, greater familiarity to new potential users, and our ability to better control spam and unwanted posts

Just times out almost every time now. I did manage to get on a couple of days ago but since then nothing.
