Sydney update

I know we get those occasional updates from down south but Sydney should not be left out.

Had 7 beers on tap from day one. 2 Saisons, 2 IPA’s and already has a beer in Lark Barrels. Head brewer is ex Oskar Blues. They are developing one litre cans. Sounds very Longmont of them.

Riverside has an RIS and a Lark Barrel RIS in kegs. Should be out for Sydney good beer week. The Lark Barrel RIS is quite good.

Murray’s has a non Kiwi hop beer. Fred. All US hops. Apparently Hell of the North was pulled due to carbonation issues. Good beer even with the massive carbonation issues.

Good times abound on the Northern Sydney beaches. Unless you live in inner city Sydney and can not get public transportation.

Hot damn! Modus Operandi seem to have started with a bang so hopefully only good things to come. Heard anything of a bottling line or the like? Would love to try and get their stuff over to WA

Some really good times in Sydney for beer. Apparently modus has their porter in Lark barrels and sounds like a DIPA is in the works. They had a lime and chipolte pale ale in a keg for today.

Modus operandi is now doing 1 liter cans. Filled at the brewery

Does Nomad have a tap room or open to the public?

Thanks for the update; it’s good to see the Northern Beaches expanding.

Have been meaning to check out Modus since it opened. I’m moving from Narrabeen to Mona in a couple of weeks so will make sure to check it out.

First time I’ve heard of Nomad so will pop in next time I’m in Warringah.

Doesn’t quite count as Sydney, but close enough.
