Thorogoods of Burra is Retired

Inevitably the day has come and I’ve now retired Thorogoods on RB. For those interested, the land, equipment, barrels and left over stock have been purchased by Tim Angove and the business renamed as Burra Scrumpy Cumpany.

I believe the Thorogoods are helping them out in their transition so here’s hoping for quality cider in the future.

I see Bitter Phew is cracking some of the 2010 vintage next week (Sat 22nd).

Nice. I couldn’t imagine there would be many bottles of Billy B’s still kicking around. It’ll be interesting to hear how its held up in the bottle after some 5 years.
