Hi folks, just looking for anyone to comment as to what their favorite beer is, and what makes it their tipple?
|
This is a fun question, as it is multi-layered. Best beer I've ever had: Double Barrel Hunahpu Best beer produced yearly: Bourbon County Stout Best beer produced every day: Heady Topper Best beer readily available to me whenever I want: Prairie Bomb Ballast Point Sculpin Founders Porter All this said, it's hard to beat the craft of a 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze, New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red, or Hill Farmstead Dorothy. There are far too many ways to answer this question.

I think my favorite beer is something different from my highest rated beer. My highest rated you can look up. My favorite beer is probably the beer that finishes on top of this equation: score*drinkability*availability. No idea which beer would win that though.

And with score I mean "my score" (obviously)

Exactly. It doesn't have to be the best one you've ever had, just something you have bought over and over again.
