TAR may not be black (or is he?) but his beer sure is. Kentucky Breakfast Stout, hand-bottled Ten FIDY and Ten FIDY with Cherries, Madrugada Obscura, Duck-Rabbit IS, Leireken Buckwheat Ale, La Roja GR, and as an extra Goose Island Imperial Brown Goose. Wahoo!
Jeff sent me a BM asking for a specific brew: Pennichuck Pozharnik Imperial Stout. I sent him two 1L bottles and an additional Smuttynose Wheat Wine. Jeff returned with an amazing, expertly packed box: 1 Fort Collins Doppelbock, 1 Twisted Pine Big Daddy Espresso Stout, 1 Bells Batch 2006, 1 Hopslam and 1 2006 DARK LORD! Simply outstanding. Jeff and i did a small trade. I got the agreed upon Hawks DM Imp Stout and as a bonus he sent Ft Collins Dopplebock. packed very well. Hope to trade with jeff again.
Not technically a trade, but I had to enter a rating for it. This is just too ridiculous. So I got some Musette and 11th for Jeff, which he is paying for. He shipped me a 12 styro shipper to send him them with (he’s paying for the shipping too). In it he enclosed, oh I dont know, just some La Folie and PP Synergy. Wow. What a guy!
TAR sent me a few goodies, including a Terrapin Wake-n-Bake, for growler from a local brewpub. Everything was perfectly packed and shipped out promptly. My second trade with Jeff probably won’t remain my last.
TAR came through with the promised JP Biere de Mars, Founders Curmudgeon, FFTW and Jah-va, plus bonuses of Terrapin Coffee Impy and BBC Reserve Bourbon Barrel - sadly, the cap jarred loose from the FFTW and covered the other bottles with some wonderful-smelling, sticky residue - The poor capping from HOTD is probably what caused the problem, though - other than the spill, this was a good trade - T
