“2022-10-13. Small patio is cozy with a few picnic tables. Food truck is unfortunately closed today as we were hoping to eat. Beers we sampled were just okay. Grabbed a couple more to take home. Seating indoors is mostly high top tables with the now standard metal bar stools. Okay. Worth a visit but we preferred the beer at the other breweries in town. Closes earlier than some other places as well so be aware of that when planning your itinerary. “

“2022-10-11. Good sized well lit patio. Music is interesting mix of octoberfest and other stuff. Friendly staff. Shared a breakfast sandwich and tots. Sandwich was just a touch bland and I’d prefer the bun toasted but I’m nitpicking - it was pretty enjoyable. Tots are pleasantly seasoned. Pricing is not cheap but not outrageous. Service is friendly. Indoors is nice. Beers overall ranged from just okay to pretty good. 10 taps, flights of 3 available. Exceeded my expectations.“

“A recommended stop if you are Collingwood. A good selection of beer, a decent space, and lots of selection including special one-offs often from the foeder. Three experienced brewers,we will hear more from them in the future.“

“Passable beer, large location and good friendly service. Anything good was out. Most on was not so drinkable.“

“Very good service, its a "cottage industry" of two locations in busy Collingwood, where people, a lot of Yuppies, have fled the lockdowns. Decent looking place for a rural location. Unfortunately beer is rather basic, though it is cheap.“

“Really cool place. Service was quick and new their stuff. Lots of beers to choose from (over 15) and quite a few were really tasty and some, not so much. Although I didn't have anything to eat the food looked really good. Overall the experience was a good one. I would go back again. A couple of memorable beers were, "Lost Cabin Vienna Lager", "Pretty River Kolsch-Lagered Ale" and the "Rad Dog Belgian Pale Ale"“

“Ok spot. Kinda out of the way. Service was good/friendly. Not much of a selection of beers, or food (6 brews when I was there). Pricing was fair. Amusing place to check out if you're in the Collingwood area. I thought their best beers were the Dark Lager and the Pale Ale, Wheat Beer was ok.“

“Place: Side Launch 2017-06-09. My jaw hit the floor when we first pulled up here. At first I thought the brewery occupied the entire building but the bulk of it is a factory next door. The actual brewery is still dramatically larger than the mental picture in my head. Primarily a retail shop, the space is big and open, essentially just some tables set up in the high ceiling-ed industrial space, with a low wall and a long bar separating drinkers from the sparkling brewery and tanks behind. I imagine the feeling is less dramatic on a cloudy crappy day, but the giant windows made it feel bright and spacious today. We were late to meet family, and the brewery was about to close so we didn’t sit but the brewer was nice enough to give us a tour. Servers were super friendly and even chatted us up about other things to do in Collingwood in the parking lot as we were leaving! Beer selection is relatively limited, their core brands with a few seasonals but they are all generally solid, the wheat beer being one of my long time favorites. Well worth a visit if you are in town.“

“2017-06-11. Nice space. Server is friendly. Menu looked decent but we had just eaten. Decor is nice with a rustic cabin meets modern melange. A bit too warm on a hot day - AC not on? We did some flights, most of the beers were decent to good but not many standouts. That said, today we skipped some of the ones that we have tried before which are amongst their better offerings. Well worth a visit if you are nearby. “

“Hard to rate as it was the middle of winter and this is primarily a brewery that has an open door policy and large front of house space. The beers are tidy and mostly available. The staff are open, honest and informative. They sell for take-out. Thimbles are free, flights are more sensible.“

“Front of house tasting room, quire hard to find without SatNav I imagine. Very much an add-on to the brewery, which is struggling with some succes to match its ambitions to its performance. Well worth a look.“

“Brewpub in the centre of town with a huge range of beers - none duff. There is a bottle shop at the front. Good local vibe - the ski instructors come here. Probably my number one in Collingwood.“

“A great brewpub that is modern and very comfortable. Service was just OK, locals tend to get all the attention. Huge selection of beer with lots of guests and flights available. Food looked fantastic, but I didn’t eat. Prices were OK. A fantastic place to stop for lunch and get a great amount ot ticks. Beers were OK with some nice stand outs. A great stop in the area.“

“A cavernous, very industrial layout not particularly conducive to enjoyment. Service was OK and selection was their 3 normal beers. Samples are free and beer is cheap but not much of it. They do have small batches available but only 1 if your are lucky. A little thin of the offering, but if you are in the area, you might as well as their beer is solid.“

“A warehouse type brewery with a really nice indoor and patio tasting area. Pints in the taproom but tasters are free and one at a time at the growler bar. Service was nice and knowledgeable, they will take you into the back in a heartbeat. Lots of money involved here. Beer was just average with a singular stand out. Worth a stop if in the area.“
