“After beeing tiped on Apal Sideri about the nearby new openee OmCider we drove to visit. They had been investing in big facilities and had a production this year of 8000 liter of Cider and 18000 liter of juice. Was meet by nice people at the cideri sales location and had a tour on the production facilites as well. Looking forward to taste the 2 cider varieties that they had. Wort the trip. Located in nice area in the valley just 3-4 km from Hjelmeland centra. Visited April 10th 2021 with Bryne.“

“Early morning rushtrip to Apal with Bryne to ensure we got some bottles of this year cider "Apal Kompani" that was expected to be sold out later same day. Bryne had already preordered them to hold aside for us..... We're comming. Nicly located in the hillside of Hjelmeland not far from centra. For now they where located in a barn, but had plans on builidng new facilities for production. Nice friendly owner was receiving us an also kind enough to tell ut that the new cidery nearby had now opened so we ran over to visit there too after. Visited April 10th 2021 with Bryne.“

“What Bryne said. Easy to find cidery on a working farm, clearly visible signs. Two ciders so far, also two n/a apple juice varieties. If there is no one in the shop when you arrive, their mobile number is posted on the door, and they will help you if they are at home. Just remember that due to Norwegian state regulations you cannot buy cider after 18:00 (same as Vinmonopolet stores).“

“New cidery, opened for sale in March 2021.Easy to find: from the town Hjelmeland, follow road fv660 and just after lake "Steinslandsvatnet" look for a sign on the left side just before a small bridge. The sign has a logo with an apple and "OmCider - Fevoll gard" written. Spacious parking at the farm, the new warehouse just in front is where the cider is produced and sold. Nice shop when you enter. Two different ciders and two apple juice. All sold in both 75 cl and 33 cl, a wise choice in my opinion! Friendly and talkative service. We were allowed to enter and see around in the production facility. Brand new and spacious. This place was a nice bonus visit, thanks to Dan Olav at Apal who gave us the tip about this new cidery. “The first stop on our cider tour this Saturday. I had contacted the owner Dan Olav Sæbø in advance to make sure he was open and had cider to offer. Last year he got a "CiderWorld'20 Award for his sparkling cider "Sølvsider" The 2020 vintage was already sold out on the farm, early in April! But, he had a new one "Apal Kompani" that he expected would sell out during this day. This was our main reason for the spontaneous visit to Hjelmeland. Gunnar has already explained how to get here. The farm is nicely located in the hillside above the small town of Hjelmeland. We were told that there were plans to expand and build new facilities for production and sale at the farm. Remember to also purchase Apal's top notch apple juice. The friendly owner told us there was a brand new cidery nearby, OmCider. Great news! (Visited April 10th 2021 with Nilsas)“

“Large orchard located just north of Hjelmeland centre, with the apple threes growing in a SW slope, ideal for fruits. Young owner have big plans for expansion, and have planted a lot of new threes lately. First harvest was in 2019, and the result was about 1200 bottles of delicious cider. Be aware if you use Google maps for navigation, don`t cross the bridge, drive 300 m furtherand turn left, follow the sign and you will find yourself at the farm in minutes.
