“Visited during renovation summer 2021. Easy to reach. Grabbed 5-6 bottles to go and ventured off. The nuggets close by are lowenbrau and Rittmayer an der aisch.“

“Brewery. Gasthof by the same name located in the same building has nothing to do with this brewery. Beerwise we had 6 different beers from their bottle shop and all were of outstanding taste & quality - I was pleasantly surprised.“

“Another great place visited a couple of times with my parents. In driving distance from Bamberg and parking just outside the brauhaus. The brewery and breweryshop are also placed here. We had 3 of their beers, served with a smile and in good condition. Further we had a great brotzeitteller, which will make me go back at another visit i Bamberg area. Traditionel deco and a large beergarden, for sure worth a visit.“

“Visited may 2013 with my parents. After a longer drive we arrived at the village, found the brewery, which was closed, but luckily a sign told us that the keller was open, so of we went and found it :-).. We had some nice, wellserved beers, and had a brotzeit teller to go with the beer. Staff was very friendly, the keller seemed very local, and I would guess you need a car to get to this place. Almost finished with the beers, 3 small horses with children, showed up.. The children had an ice-cream, the horses some grass and the moms had a beer ( off course ).. Nice place to visit if you are in the area..“

“Medium-sized (by franconian standards) rural brewery without any associated Brauereigasthof; located north of Höchstadt’s centre; the drinks-market on the premises usually offers the whole range(up to 10 bottles) of the Brauhaus’ production. Worth a visit!“

“Near Fischer Greuth keller. Has a very nice elevated patio with wood floors, overlooking a lush garden area. Friendly place.“

“An odd place, huge - like a town dance hall, with sparsly furniture, the bar looking more like a butcher shop though without the meat. An as pivnizup states the old brewmaster can tell a lot about beer - though my German wasn’t good enough to understand everything. 3 beers on draft, 2 on bottle.“

“Old brewery-tap, recently refurbished, on the southern edge of the old town; three regular beers and one special, seasonal brew ("Zapfhahn Nummer Vier") on tap; some tables in front of the Gasthaus on a little square, that is unfortunately crossed by plenty of cars. Nevertheless, worth a visit !“

“Traditional village pub in a rather faceless style; nice patio in the garden behind the pub. Well kept beers, served in slim steins. Friendly staff, the old brewmaster will, if You’ll have good luck and You’ll be able to speak german, tell You something about franconian beers......................Good place for a short break !“
