“Terrible. We went to Rosies Restaurant for a family lunch and were extremely disappointed. The service was curt at best (or server was not so much rude as absent and made it clear she didn’t want to be there), and the food-- they couldn’t even make a sandwich (the clubs used processed cheese and processed turkey), or salad (not sure how they even managed to make a salad taste so bad that several people couldn’t finish). Everyone had indigestion after the poor quality food and was angry. The food and service were about on par with a badly managed Tim Hortons location, but it ended up costing over $15 per person for a light lunch, or $76 with tax and tips.“

“The pub seemed to have two different styles and ambiance to it. One half being Rosie’s, restaurant style occupied with retired locals and tourists and Paddy’s side, a little dark and to me resembled not an Irish bar but a local Welsh Valleys pub which you would never step inside. Not from the outside mind you. That looked pretty welcoming. But the inside had the typical Welsh rugby club wall decor and wall paper. Oh well I felt right at home and was keen to get on the beer. The beer itself is nothing to write home about. The nachos were good. Then waitress was friendly and pretty quick I thought. No complaints at all.“

“The Kentville Paddy’s is a dull sort of place - a litle bit of restaurant, a little bit of sports bar...feels like Denny’s but without the corporate. Hard to describe. Beers are average for Maritime micros. The Wolfville location is much better and the beers are exactly the same.“
