80 /100 Ty Korn (Bar) BOURG DE LAMPAUL (OUESSANT) Thanks to this guy, Webb, went there on 2016 mid august. Actually the first impression was - what the hell, selection is not as good as guy wrote. Mainly dull industrial stuff, not much of the locals - I will have to survive here for 3 nights? God help me. But from here everything went very well, spending evenings with hand-pulled Coreff ambre after hiking all day long, this place became part of very fond memories regarding visit to Ushant. |
72 /100 Ty Korn (Bar) BOURG DE LAMPAUL (OUESSANT) The last place on Earth I expected to find a great beer cafe. Ouessant (Ushant to Victorian sailors) is an Island off Cape Finistere on France’s Britanny coast. There are fast ferries several times a day from various mainland ports. It makes a great day trip or you should consider an overnight. A blowy but entertaining island surrounded by excellent lighthouses, including the Ar-Men after which several Breton beers are named. Hand-pulled Coreff, about two dozen Breton microbrewery beers including several of the emerging local specialities black wheat beers - Ble Noire - made from the same blackened wheat as the local crepes. A great place to get stranded in the rain. |
