60 /100 Watson and Pratt's (Grocery Store) UNIT 23-24 LAMPETER INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, TREGARON ROAD A unit on an industrial estate at the far end of town (possibly the near end if you're coming the other way!) doesn't feel the usual location for an enterprise specialising in fresh, local and organic food. Having dodged HGVs and high speed fork lift trucks, we parked up and entered a bustling medium-sized cornucopia of produce. The fresh food here is excellent (there's an on-site bakery), and the staff are friendly and know their stuff. The beer and cider selection is small (about 12 bottles) but local and with some unusual ones - I snagged a sour from Tomas a Lilford brewery, which I'd not heard of before. All in all, a decent place; maybe not worth going out of your way for, but certainly worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. |
