68 /100 UNIT 39 BRASENOSE ROAD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE BRASENOSE ROAD Very good guys producing about 20 different brews. Brews are nice, but the problem is that brewery tap is open only 1 day per month, so they are very difficult to catch. |
68 /100 Merton Inn (JDW) (Bar) 42 MERTON ROAD On the southern end of Bootle’s commercial area at the junction of Stanley and Merton Roads, this Wetherspoon is in it’s own very large and detached purpose built pub building. It clearly is older than the chain that now occupies it, but it’s of a suitable size for the masses that come here in search of cheap food and drink which includes a couple of rows of rotating ales. It’s a fairly grand brick building for the area with plenty of grounds to enable a car park and a large number of outdoor seats. Inside it adheres to the traditional soft furnished pub design very common with the chain but one that does look the part. |
74 /100 UNIT 39 BRASENOSE ROAD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE BRASENOSE ROAD Not easy to find. But with a little help from some friends we found it.
