| 58 /100 The Pub and Churchill (Restaurant) KLOOSTERSTRAAT 36 “Seems to be geared up as more of a restaurant than a pub. Traditional pub food like steak, burgers, fish ’n chips. Food quality was quite good. Prices for main meals €11-€20. London Pride was available on cask (€6 pint). Kegs included Punk IPA (€8 pint), Guinness (€6), Fullers Winter, Budvar. Good service from the young waiting staff. Mixed feelings about the ambience. It has a nice interior, furnishings, etc but low lighting and lounge music at 8pm on a Saturday night doesn’t feel right. Good value on the food but the beer is disappointingly expensive. Session beers like LP & Guinness seem overpriced.“ |
