| 62 /100 STRANDGT. 39 “The hotel is an historical institution in Northern Norway with traces back to the late 18th Century, well worth visiting. The hotel bar, Fruen Bar, is located on the ground floor, follow the corridor from the reception almost to the end and that the bar is located to the right. A few years ago the bar used to the one of the main outlet for beers from the local Mosjøen Mikrobryggeri. Today, on my stay, there were Mack beers on the taps, and Mack micro and macro beers in the fridge supported by a few German and Swedish beers. Mack Mikrobryggeri has also made a special lager for the hotel called Fru Haugans Lager. A comfortable bar room with adjoining cozy rooms in timber in the old part of the hotel. Eight taps mostly with beers from Austmann and one from Bådin. Interesting bottled menu with a few Vega beers made by Bådin, and some Graff beers among them, a few foreign beers as well. Pizza options. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Halloween decoration inside and outside at my stay 31.10.2019.“ |
