“What countbeer said. Except the smoky part, the smoking ban in Belgium helped in this respect. It has a nice atmosphere and quite a few decent lambiks. Especially for a village the size of Retie. I rather like it.“

“Located in the centre of this small village, it’s next to the supermarket. Most of the beers they got are well known by most of us here: belgian beers (trappist, abbey and most typical begian beers) But their specialty for sure are the lambics: both the gueuzes and krieken from Cantillon, Boon, Hansens, De Cam, Drie Fontijnen, Girardin, Oude Beersel and St. Louis are available. Don’t make a special stop for this place, because there are way better places in Belgium, but if you are close by, make sure to visit it. Oh and it’s smokey inside!“
