| 80 /100 GRUNTENSTRASSE 2 “A great 2.5 hour brewery tour. The oldest family brewery in Germany 400 plus years. Includes a visit to the old brewery where you can try their Zwicle beer. The only place that you can get it. Cost 10 Euro includes tour movie and drink all the beer you want and prezzels. For an extra 5 Euros you can stay at the sampling room for an extra hour tasting more. Fantastic time“ |
| 72 /100 BURGBERGER STRASSE 7 “We were driving along a fairly quite road, in and out of various Bavarian villages, and I see the word "brauhaus." Then I see several shipping trucks. Then I see the copper kettles and the restaurant/brewhouse. We stopped there for dinner and drinks. Quite possibly the best weiner schnitzel I’ve ever had, and their soups were very tasty too. Our server didn’t speak a lick of English, and only seemed to speak louder and more quickly in German when we would tell her that we didn’t understand a word she was saying. Nevertheless, the beer was tasty (had the doppelbock, hefe and zwickel) and the food was great. A worthwhile stop if you’re nearby.“ |
