64 /100 Dove at Rhyl (Bar) 4 ST MARGARET'S BUILDINGS, ST MARGARET'S DRIVE Shop unit micropub with large glass windows at the front. It's a little way out of Rhyl in its suburbs so off the tourist trail for the town, but situated on the main road so it's hard to miss. There's a mix of cask and keg with the vast majority of the selection from North Wales, and I spotted one from Chester too (which was part of Wales many centuries ago!). The decor is a little hotch-potch, but it work well enough for this place. There's a very small back yard area that doubles as outdoor space for the pub, and the mens toilet is also situated here too, which might get a little cold in the winter. |
84 /100 Sussex (JDW) (Bar) 20-26 SUSSEX STREET Big place in the town center ... id say maybe the ub around the area.. |
66 /100 Sussex (JDW) (Bar) 20-26 SUSSEX STREET In the heart of the town centre on a pedestrianised street amongst the shops, this is as much a domain of the local as it is the tourist in season. It can get busy especially when visitors flock to the resort and it’s a comfortable darkly lit pub that offers the usual food and drink. Ales are on two rows of pumps. |
