82 /100 The Hill Station (Restaurant) 7 MUONG HOA The only place with craft beer in SaPa. Small but really cosy with the guy from UK at the bar. Happy hours before 6 PM means 2 pints for around 100 K. Dongs. Calm place for chill our and rest after SaPa trekking. |
64 /100 The Hill Station (Restaurant) 7 MUONG HOA I’ve been here a few times over the last couple of years and only just realised I never reviewed the place. It’s a nice break from the madness on “Pub Street” to chill out and sink a few cold beers or whatever else takes your fancy. It’s a small place with subdued lighting and plenty of brick and concrete. The beer list is small and not particularly inspiring, but that’s not what they are about. Not really for the tickers, but if you are close by at the end of the evening there is nowhere better. Friendly and helpful service. Wi-Fi too. |
62 /100 The Hill Station (Restaurant) 7 MUONG HOA As beer places go, this appears to be the only place that serves something other than commercial lagers. The sign outside proudly proclaimed Pasteur Street Brewing beers. In fact all three of their beers (two draft and one can) were from Pasteur Street. l liked the ambiance, because it seemed less like a tourist trap then most of the other places around. But still...only three beers? |
50 /100 The Hill Station (Restaurant) 7 MUONG HOA Popular deli and eatery that deserves a mention as there’s a Pasteur Street Brewing tap with either their IPA or a seasonal on rotation. I don’t believe there is anywhere else in town for a decent beer. Happy hour delivers two for one - good deal. There’s a full menu available, cheese boards and the cured buffalo meat is delicious. Pricey for local standards however. |
