“This place was a supprise, had been running over a year in our area without getting noticed by any RB nearby, even Bryne missed that one. This is currently the only place in Stavanger where you get beer from Sveiseriet. Selection was good, they had 6 beers from Sveiseriet on tap, and 2 standard crap beers. The place is more as the name say "Show bar", we where there early in the day and it was quiet. I can imagine the crowdy place in the night. Backdraw for us tasters is that the minimum glasses was 27Cl. but still ok. The beer from the brewery was withing good expectaions. This place is worth a visit for sure. Visited 09.05.2024.“

“Burgers and decent selection from Lervig. 5 beers on tap and 10 cans available from Lervig. Not bad at all but do not expect finding something crazy. Tasty burgers and efficient service. There are many restaurants in Pedersgata but not many serving food after 21.00 a Tuesday and offers seating for a group of nine persons. Visited April 30th 2024 with colleagues“

“Holy crap, a bar with beers from a new local brewery! Show Bar is the only place to try beers from Sveiseriet. Brewing in the outskirts of Stavanger and Show Bar as the Taproom downtown. Draught only. Beers from this nano brewery have been available here since spring 2023. Almost a year before I finally found out that beers from a new brewery were available in the very middle of Stavanger. Show Bar is a colorful little boozer. Small bar very centrally located by the main square and near the party zone in Stavanger. 6 beers from Sveiseriet available. Limited and uninteresting selection from Ringnes but also some from Lervig in the fridge. Very friendly and talkative service. A flight is 5 x 27 cl for 349 NOK. A bit cheaper on Tuesdays; 299 NOK. But, you can buy single beers in 27 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl and 100cl (??) Looking forward to my next visit! (Visited April 22nd 2024)“

“Nice small Taproom, counted 7 Beers on tap, and about 15-20 in box in fridge, all own beers. Great service, staff well known with their beers. Great sitting places for 30+ persons, bench outside, but not sure it that is for use for taproom guests. You have to double check opening times, mostly only open fridays and saturdays, but can be closed if staff away on beer festivals and so on. This is a place worth wisit if in area. One backdraw about it is location. Visited 20.04.2024 with Bryne and Untappd Jostein.“

“Interesting bar and vinyl shop (both new and second hand) with a god location in the middle of town. Interesting cider focus both from tap and bottles. Well thought beer selection as well. Friendly and knowable staff, good music and relaxed atmosphere. Another must visit pub in town.“

“A fairly small store, but as they always seem to be well stocked with the latest Salikatt beers it's well worth a visit if you're in the vicinity. Friendly and knowlegdable staff, as in most Vinmonopolet outlets.“

“Finally I got to visit this legendary place! My expectations was high and Cardinal delivered. Located in the old part of the city in the narrow cobbled streets, and is almost travelling back to the 1800s. The two-storey pub has old and dark interior suitable for its surroundings. Just about half full a friday evening, and with a quite calm atmosphere. The second floor is more open than the first, and with large tables suitable for larger groups. The beer meny is fabolous and I was happy to find cask ale as well.“

“A basement located restaurant and pub. Quite crowded on my visit at a Friday evening. Both small and large seating arrangements with a variated interior. Well-stocked beer selection with several local breweries and other Norwegian microbreweries. I was also happy to see that they had English ale on cask. Didn't try the food but the meny looked as interesting as the beer meny. Knowledgeable and serviceminded staff.“

“Located in a fairly quiet street just in the outskirts of the city centre. Crowded on my visit Friday afternoon. Relatively modern interior with wooden furnitures. The 20 taps are filled with lots from Lervig and some guest breweries. Some rare beers and vintages from Lervig as well. Happy that they serve beer planks of 5 by own choice, nevertheless the guy behind the bar wasn't too excited to fill my five selected beers. Not the best tasting glasses though. It seemed possible to get a private tasting as a group inside the room with the steel tanks. High quality on the food meny and the food itself.“

“Located in the mole of Stadionparken, with entrance only from outside. Badly marked we passed the place 3 times on less than 5 meter distance before we finaly found it. Ok strait forward plain bar. 5 beer on tap, approx 20 bottles, not much selection but lot of own beer (Jåttå Gardsbryggeri). Pricing was pretty high concider own brew and no transport cost. Service was not impressive at all, he did not even know how to operate the cashier. Been there done that, never again.“

“Nicely located after a 10 min walk from Stavanger centrum. Located in a living area. Came there on a rainfull day. Found 20 on tap and about 50 bottles, great selection of own beer and colabs. Strait forward cold pub, no good seating. The service was ok, but irritate me that in a pub in Norway the personell in the bar barely can speak Norwegian, had to turn to English to get ordered. “Blåveis opened in June 2022. Situated in a narrow street with cobblestones in the very city center and shopping area. Divided in two levels and with two bars. From the mentioned street, Søregata, you have the bar to the rigth and seating area to the left. Half a level down there are vinyl records for sale. Occasionally live music, see FaceBook. A large curved staircase leads up to next floor and another bar and more seating. Also a large patio facing a small square. A nice place in the summer! The upstair bar is a combined craft beer, cider and coctail bar. Two draught ciders and more than 30 bottled Norwegian ciders available. Best cider selection in Stavanger? Very friendly and informative service. Nice place, brand new and easy to see that they have spent a lot lof money to refurbish and create the atmosphere they wanted. A new top beer venue in Stavanger! (Visited October 13th 2022)“

“With friends on a busy Friday evening: great pizza and very friendly service. Leervig, Rygr and Frydelund on tap, and a fairly decent selection of cans (again, Lervig and Rygr) and bottles (Baladin) in the fridge. Toilet facilites are less than adequate.“

“Great little place with extremely limited opening hours and (for pracitical reasons, I guess) a limited number of taps. Very friendly and competent staff (of course!). You get a full view of their brewing facilities, and all beers served are super fresh. A must for all lovers of top quality micros. So far I haven't been offered samples, which is about my only reason for not giving this place top score.“

“The latest Vinmonopolet bottle shop in Stavanger (2022) Located in a shopping center called «Tasta Senter» There are for sure better Vinmonopolet stores to visit in the Stavanger region, but this one is convenient for those living in the northern parts of Stavanger. “Visited on a Monday, early afternoon, and I was the sole customer. Located 150 meters from Jåttåvågen train station. Entrance just to the left of the main entrance to Stadionparken shopping mall. Nice retro interior. Friendly adult lady serving. Their selection of craft beers from Jåttå Gårdsbryggeri (and craft ciders from Sandalen) is good, but in the long run they will probably need to expand their beer selection. At least they had the n/a beer Lervig No Worries, which was my choice of the day, as I was driving. I hope they will survive, the area needs a local pub like this.“

“Påkostet innredning, elegant og koselig på samme tid. 15 fatølhaner, hvorav 14 fra Jåttå Gårdsbryggeri, den siste var for hvitvin. At de satser stort på lokale produsenter er prisverdig, og det gir seg også utslag i utvalget av flaskecidere fra Sandalen). Svært blid og hyggelig om enn noe uerfaren bartender på jobb denne lørdags formiddagen i påsken. Besøkt sammen med Bryne 15.4.22). Legger gjerne turen innom her flere ganger når jeg er i nærheten.“

“A really large bar in "Stadionparken" shopping center. Just some steps from Jåttåvågen train station. This bar is also a sports bar for Viking FC supporters since the bar and shopping center is part of "SR-Bank Arena" football stadium. But, Zip 4020 does not look like an average sports bar! This is more like a classy bar and a bar for locals in this area outside downtown Stavanger. Indeed a welcoming bar for everyone. The owners seems to have spent a lot of money in this bar. Modern and rustic interior and lots of various and comfy seating. Large bar area in brown wood and copper. All beers on tap and in cans are from the nearby brewery Jåttå Gårdsbryggeri. Actually a taproom for Jåttå Gårdsbryggeri. They have a beer only available here, Jåttå Zip 4020. Also some bottles local cider from Sandalen. Wine selection seemed to be decent too. “The famous "Fargegata" or Øvre Holmegate has plenty of bars with decent beer selection. Citra is an up scaled pizza restaurant with more than decent beers selection as well. Most beers from Lervig or Rygr, but also some from Baladin, Brooklyn, Nøgne Ø, Kinn and 7 Fjell. Their Italian styled pizza was really tastefull. Two floors and a patio in front. Very crowded at our visit a Saturday evening but still efficient service. (Visited April 2nd 2022 wityh my wife)“

“Famous sea food restaurant and deli store located just some steps from the seafront in Stavanger. Remember to book a table if you want to visit! Decent selection from the local heroes Lervig and even bottles from the cideries Apal, Omcider and Eiane Gard. Not bad! Efficient service and their fish soup was as expected; just great! “Salikatt is nowadays the big hipster brewery in Stavanger. They launch new hoppy beers almost every second weekend. Their taproom is in the same building as the brewery, in an industrial estate 3-4 km from downtown Stavanger. We arrived from south and walked the sea promenade from Mariero train station and later caught a bus to Stavanger. The taproom is between the bottleshop and the brewery. From the bar you can sea the brewery through big windows. Very friendly service and fresh beers from Salikatt on tap. Also some guest beers. See their beer menu on Untappd or their website. A place I would like to revisit once in a while, especially when there is a beer not widely available in cans. (Visited February 25th 2022 with Gunnar)“

“Visited today, and the beer selection is not very impressive for such a big grocery store (Coop Mega Madla Handelslag is better). One n/a beer and one cider were the only new ticks for me. At least they have the decency to stock a few of the very local beers from Jåttå Gårdsbryggeri.“

“Nice, modern, spacy and still cozy pub with knowledgeable and dedicated staff. Varied tap selection, nice to see that even Lervig has realized that there is more to beer than fruity juice flavors. Found both a classic IPA, brown ale and doublebock on the list. Service where efficiency and food tastes great, the tuna where perfectly made.“

“After quick stop at Lervik we did the 5 min walk over to Salikatt Bryggeri. This Brewery has a small bottle shop connectet to the brewery. Staff is nice and friendly, selection is usualy good, but this day they were almost sold out. Nice peak into the brewery as well. Visited 13.08.2021 with Cunningham and ChrisOfstad. (4,8,10,,,15)“

“Well, this is an ordinary Coop Mega grocery store when it comes to beer selection. Decent enough, but nothing more. No cans from the local brewery Salikatt, why? Not worth a visit at all, except if this is your local grocery store. I was not impressed at all. Have visited this store a couple of times, but not rated it before now. Just a place tick. “At once, one of my favorite places to visit when in Stavanger! This is the first pub in these parts of the city. A ten minutes walk from the city center. Lots of historic sites to visit nearby if you are interested. Nice, spacious patio overlooking the park "Ledaalsparken". If possible, I prefer to enjoy my beers outside. Spacious inside too. Very friendly and efficient service and quite often a new beer on tap from Lervig Local. A must visit! (Visited first time August 13th 2020 with Gunnar)“

“Mitt første besøk på denne "Eiganes lokalpub" var i strålende augustvær sola skinte fra skyfri himmel og det var stappfullt både ute og inne. Allikevel hyggelig og imøtekommende service, og utvalget av fatøl er upåklagelig. Supert sted å sitte i ettermiddagssolen med et godt glass for hånden.“
