“A well kept JDW close to the Stepney Green tube station. Two entrances and two serving bars, sheltered outdoor seating. Six cask ales in each bar. We had a decent Sunday breakfast for £4.95 and a couple of cask ales, London breweries, after breakfast. Friendly service and excellent toilets facilities. (Visited with Finn, 12.02.2023).“

“Visited Hamilton Hall the same day and they had excactly the same beer selection. 5 different cask and 4 different keg on my visit. Also some interesting bottles. Very nice patio. You will find it close to Stepney Green tube station. Not many other decent pubs in this area. So pop in and have a beer or two“

“A busy enough Wetherspoon a few doors along from Stepney underground station with an attractive courtyard that removes you from the urban hustle and bustle of Mile End Road. There’s two rooms with two very different styles to them in this pub, and a bar in both. Both on the ground floor the first room closest to the road is the chapel area, a very square room with little light but a warming carpet and comfortable setting. Behind this a small corridor leads to the theatre room which is noticeable only by its wood panel design above ground level on three sides (the fourth side being a huge glass window leading out into the courtyard). It’s not the most beautiful of Wetherspoon architectural ideas as the panels look akin to something on a children’s playground but the idea is at least nice. It’s a very urban pub in the chain and there’s plenty of locals in here although there’s a mix of age groups. The bar stacks a couple of rows of real ales but the service was very slow when I was first here despite it not being a very busy Friday afternoon for them.“
