“We visited here Saturday 2nd July 2022, the second stop off on a 52km Waging am See Traunstein 5 brewery tour loop *There is a map that details this and other cycle tours around Chiemgau area. We arrived here after a few gravely sections and small climbs between Schonram and Teisendorf. Braugasthof Alte Post is located quite centrally in Teiendorf. This is a big building and looks like it has been here for a very long while, there is a small Biergarten patio area at the rear, go through the alley/arch there is a REWE on the left, and the Biergarten is at the back, there is parking spaces for a few bikes here. The patio area is enclosed and has maybe 8-10 tables, it was a warm day but there were parasols providing some shade. After Loz accidentally knocked over and broke a glass that had been left on the table by the previous guests we ordered some beer and food, I had the Wieninger Ruperti Pils and Loz a Hefe Weisse, and I had Fleischpflanzerl (Bavarian Meatballs) and Pomme Frites, I think that Loz had Schnitzel, the food was delicious and this was the best Fleischpflanzerl that I'd had in Germany thus far. The service was good, quick and staff member was very friendly. There was some function going on further back with a band playing and a lot of people dressed up in traditional bavarian clothing, I suspect that it was a wedding or similar event. We liked this place.“

“Right next to the brewery, this is the best place to drink Wieninger beers in Teisendorf. The weather was crappy so we ran inside without sightseeing. There’s medium sized beer hall with few older waitresses dressed in traditional Bavarian folk costume. My girlfriend ordered delicious Apfelstrudel which was served with vanilla ice cream, orange and Peruvian cherry and I was satisfied with 5 new kinds of Wieninger. There’s also Wieninger souvenir shop inside. Good place.“
