“Prancing Pony is quite large and is an open-plan industrial set-up with indoor and outdoor seating. The interior decor is rustic and unusual using old furniture and is, in part, decorated with a wall of doors while other sections are decorated with Prancing Pony cartons. Outdoors is set up with table and trestles so you can enjoy the sun. It all gives off a good feeling and there is plenty to look at and was quite busy on our week-day visit. There are 16 taps that serve their own range that are available in schooners (285ml) and 500ml glasses and prices are city craft beer standard. Tasting flights are advertised however it is a set range of six beers (which is obviously very limiting if you have tried all of these). However there are plenty others to choose from including others in the core range, new releases and special brews. Take away bottles are available for most of the range. The staff are friendly and the establishment actively supports local causes. The Prancing Pony micro-brewery offers quality easy-drinking beer to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere and is well worth a visit.“

“A really great destination just outside of Adelaide (35 minutes by car). They make all their own beers on site and offer tasting paddles at good rates. The beers themselves are uniformly good to very good with a couple of shining stars. The venue is in a light industrial type estate and feels comfortable for an afternoon session. The food was unexpectedly very good and very generous serving sizes. All up a worthwhile visit from Adelaide.“
