Visited on a tuesday evening, it was rather crowded at first, but there was place to sit when we returned later that evening. Crowd seems to consist largely of young locals. The atmosphere is pretty good, relatively low lighting and lots of wood. I was pleasantly surprised by the beer menu, because I expected to find commercial Belgian stuff at best. On the contrary, I was able to drink some beers that were new to me. I even found Saison Dupont Cuvee Dry Hopping both 2014 and 2015 here. Staff was friendly and one guy offered beer suggestions. Nice little oasis in a beer desert.“ |
